Merkmale:
- The area/line coupler connects two KNX lines to each other for data
transfer and ensures electrical isolation between these lines. As a result,
each bus line of a KNX installation can be operated electrically independently
of the other lines.
- Support for KNX Data Secure communication (KNX Data Secure telegrams can be
processed and filtered, forwarded or blocked according to the settings).
- Fast communication between KNX products in main line and line (long frame
support for ETS5 and higher).

Area/line coupler
- Use as an area or line coupler, depending on the specification of the
physical address and parameterisation.
- Reduction of the bus load via filter function (filter table).
- Forwarding of group telegrams can be parameterised.
- Repetition rate in the case of transfer errors.
- Telegram confirmation can be parameterised.
- Support for the fully expanded group address area from 0 to 31 with the
functions “block”, “forward unfiltered” and “filter” in both
directions of communication between the main line and subline.
- “Forward unfiltered” and “block” functions can also be selected for
physically addressed telegrams between the main line and subline in both
directions of communication (programming and tamper protection).
- "Repeat: yes/no" function can be set separately for the telegram type
"Broadcast" in the event of transmission errors on the main line or subline.
- Telegram confirmation on the main or subline with the settings "always" and
"only for forwarding" possible separately for group telegrams and physically
addressed telegrams.
- For physically addressed telegrams, the setting “always reject NACK
(Not-Acknowledge)” can be selected (programming protection with feedback).

Line amplifier
- As a line amplifier, extending the lines to max. four line segments (max.
three line amplifiers per line connected in parallel per line) with up to 64
devices each is possible.
- Repetition rate in the case of transfer errors.
